The Dow Jones Industrial Average ended down 29.48 points or 0.28% at 10,577.75, recovering partly from a day's low of 10,525.03. The Nasdaq Composite closed up for the second session in a row, gaining 8.76 points or 0.47% at 1,877.06. The S&P 500 was virtually unchanged at 1,165.55, down 0.05%.
