The dollar fell slightly against the euro and the Swiss franc on Thursday on the back of reports of an explosion in front of the British consulate in New York. "It's the explosion that's moving it," said a trader at a London-based bank. At 0855 GMT the dollar fell to session lows around $1.2990 per euro, trading some 0.30 percent weaker on the day. It was down quarter percent at 1.1892 Swiss francs.
