The unadjusted number of jobless in Germany in May fell 161,000 from April to 4.807 mln, sources said. From the year earlier, the number of jobless in May rose by 514,000, the sources said. The unadjusted unemployment rate was 11.6 pct, they said, down from 12 pct in April.
