New York, June 5 (BridgeNews) - The Dow industrials posted triple-digit gains and the Nasdaq rose more than 3% after a couple of technology companies reaffirmed earnings guidance, giving investors hope that the worst may be over. The Nasdaq closed up 77 points, or 3.60%, at 2233. The Dow was up 114 points, or 1.03%, to 11,175 and the S&P 500 was up 16 points, or 1.30%, to 1283.
