LONDON (AFX) - Sir Edward George, the governor of the Bank of England, has warned that the strength of the usd is damaging the US and European economies, the Financial Times reported. Speaking after the meeting of the Group of 10 central bankers in Basle, George, who chairs the G10 group, said the strong usdr was having "perverse" effects on both sides of the Atlantic.
