LONDON (AFX) - UK public sector finance data for June are expected to reveal a Public Sector Net Cash Requirement of 7.0 bln stg, compared with a deficit of 2.441 bln stg the previous month, according to the median of 18 analysts' forecasts compiled by AFX News. The PSNCR totalled 7.042 bln stg in the corresponding month last year. In his March 21 budget, Chancellor of the Exchequer Gordon Brown forecast a PSNCR surplus of 5.1 bln stg for the fiscal year to March 2001, which compares with an 8.7 bln stg surplus recorded in the fiscal year to March 2000. Public sector finance figures are released on Thursday, July 19.
