TOKYO (AFX-ASIA) - Bad debt currently held by 15 leading domestic banks total about 18 trln yen, Minister of Financial Affairs Hakuo Yanagisawa said. "The banks will dispose of the non-peforming loans within the coming two years and of new emerging non-performing loans in the coming three years," Yanagisawa told reporters.
