LONDON (AFX) - UK provisional M4 money supply was up 1.0 pct in June on a seasonally-adjusted basis from May and was 7.7 pct higher than in the same month a year earlier, the Bank of England said. The AFX News median of analysts' forecasts was for M4 to have risen 0.5 pct month-on-month and 7.1 pct year-on-year. June provisional M4 lending rose 14.6 bln stg on a seasonally-adjusted basis, which was equivalent to an 1.3 pct increase month on month and a 9.9 pct annual rise. June M4 lending was forecast to have risen 5.8 bln stg. The bank said total repos included in M4 rose by 3.0 bln stg.
