12 September 2001 21:51 Lloyd's says total cost from US attacks impossible to estimate at this time
LONDON (AFX) - Lloyd's of London said the total cost of the
terrorist attacks on New York and Washington is currently impossible to
estimate.
Amy estimate would be pure speculation at the moment, it said in a
statement.
Earlier today, French weekly L'Argus des Assurances reported that
the total global cost of the terrorist attacks was estimated by Lloyds
at 20-40 bln usd.
