MADRID (AFX) - Banco Bilbao Vizcaya Argentaria SA said its offices throughout the world opened for "business as usual" today, with the only restrictions being those imposed by the US markets' closure. In a statement, the bank said it has made an "exhaustive" study of the situation in the wake of the terrorist attacks on the US and has been in contact with the Spanish economic and monetary authorities. BBVA said it has confidence in the financial system and in the markets' capacity to deal with the consequences of the events in the US.
