Share prices were higher in light trade Monday afternoon boosted by U.S. reports that hunted terrorist bin Laden may yet be found and by a strong forecast from software firm PeopleSoft. At the close, the Dow Industrials were up 109.47 at 9976.46, while the Nasdaq Composite was up 35.84 at 1934.42. The S&P 500 rose 12.41, to 1151.06. Volume was light on the NYSE, which dealers expect to continue through the holiday-shortened week.
