Dollar slightly firmer against euro and yen in early Europe, supported by further gains in U.S. stocks overnight. Both Dow Jones industrial average <.DJI> and tech-heavy Nasdaq <.IXIC> closed more than one percent higher.
- Euro hovers around $0.8820 , down about a 1/4 pct on day but off Monday's three-month lows around $0.8760. It received a lift earlier after China's central bank said it has raised the proportion of euros in its $200 bln strong foreign exchange reserves and said it would continue to buy euros.
- Dollar trades around 123.10 yen , within 1/2 pct pf three-month highs set a day earlier.
