The Bank of Japan needed to consider the purchase of foreign bonds, Policy Board Member Toshio Miki said Thursday. Miki said the BOJ needed to consider a range of new policy mixtures, including foreign bond purchase and foreign exchange intervention, or fiscal expansion and JGB purchases.
